We ran this digital arts project for the BBC's
21st Century Classroom.
A group of Art students from local schools were given a brief to create
a t-shirt design using Photoshop, a selection of photographs, illustrations
and a font plus an image of their own. Each element had to be included
somehow in the final design and the theme was drawn out of a hat from
suggestions made by the students. The young people learnt how to use
photoshop or increased the skills they already had as well as learning
some design concepts.
