As you can see our digital:works website has been given a total makeover. It’s now easier then ever to keep up-to-date with our latest news and projects. We hope the new site will be a big hit for our regular surfers as well as people new to digital:works. We’ve been working really hard to get the site looking and feeling just right. We’ve also done our best to make it easy to use and interesting for anyone wanting to find out more about the charity.
Some new features on the site include:
- The front, home page, will constantly change with our latest news and projects.
- The ability for people to leave comments on our projects.
- Exciting new content on all our activities.
- An overview of our creative processes, including design and layout, digital video, writing and interviewing, photography, digital art and fine arts.
- A clearer navigation menu.
And don’t forget to leave us a comment, or drop us a line, telling us what you think of our new site!

In December 2008 we worked once more with year 10 Art students at La Sainte Union school in London. Looking at the topic of Fantasy and Fairytales this years groups moved away from the more surrealist work of previous years.
Jack and the Beanstalk used a timelapse technique to capture the students realtime drawing while Cinderella used the more traditional stop motion technique.

November 2008 saw the launch of a new website designed and developed by digital-works. ‘Til I Die is a website of writings about football from football fans. The ‘Til I Die project aims to publish over 30 club-based books with stories from fans of those clubs. Supported by the National Literacy Trust it aims to reach people who do not normally write and encourages their use and improvement of literacy.
The website is used to encourage fans of all clubs to get writing and publishes stories on the site which may not appear in one of the books.
Visit the site: ‘Til I Die and why not make a contribution yourself!
